Kayaking Orange Beach and Perdido
To finish up my three part series on Kayaking the Alabama Gulf Coast we will go just across the perdido pass and park underneath the bridge at Alabama Point and put in here at the pass. This is part of the Gulf Shores National Park and certainly one of my top paddle board and kayaking destinations!
Robinson island is a short distance away where boaters will doc and hang out and enjoy the beach. Often one side of the island will be calmer than the other, depending on wind direction, which makes a good site for stand up paddle boards.
For the kayak fishers out there this is a really cool location to catch a variety of nice fish as the Perdido Pass has a large number as well as variety of fish moving in and out continuosly through the pass. Also be on the look out for charter fishing boats in a small group. Often the captains will network with each other and let one another know where the fish are located.
I also do free delivery and pickup to Orange Beach so this would be a great way to spend a day either kayaking, paddle boading or both.
Come see us here on the Alabama Gulf Coast and let us share with you our wonderful life!
