Kayaking Perdido

I have one more jewel of a spot to kayak or paddle board in the Alabama Gulf Coast area but you will need to cross state lines for a mile or two to get there. Crossing into Florida from Alabama headed East passing in front of the Flora Bama (where i attend awesome church service at nine or eleven on Sunday mornings) taking a left on river road and travelling about a mile you will find a kayak/paddle board launch area.

This is a small but proficient site with free public parking that is easily accessible and never overcrowded.

From here you can tour Ono island and other quaint landings near the area. This launch would be a great choice when the Gulf is too choppy and or perhaps you would like to get away from crowded areas during the busy season and do some on water touring.
